My Awesome Third Day At Cardigan
Including Regions!

Day three was mostly about packing up all of our stuff. I woke up before my bunkmates did.It was around 6:30. So I went out into the hallway and greeted Mr. Woolner. I then rolled up my sleeping bag. Mr. Woolner told me to wake up my bunk mates. So I went into my room and woke up Raylan. While I was waking him up, the other two woke up. We then started packing up all of our stuff. Afterwards we went downstairs and had free time. I mostly just played the guitar. We also had hot chocolate. At 8:00 we had a breakfast of blueberry muffins, eggs, home fries, and sausage. It was super delicious. After that, we got ready to hike and then split into our groups. The lodge was in a beautiful region of northern hardwood trees. My group decided to go to Welton Falls.To get to Welton Falls we would have to go through a region of pines. Or at least I think it was pines... Welton Falls was in a region of lots of hemlocks. After a little bit of walking, we played camouflage. Then we kept going. We did a lot of sketching that day. A little after that, we crossed a river. Then we were on our way. Another 15 minutes of walking and we were at Welton Falls. We met up with another group and ate lunch. We then did a water study and found out the water was acidic. Then we started walking back to the cabin, while playing the states and capitals game. When we got back, we filled out another survey about the trip. Then we got on the bus. We said goodbye and left.
